Privacy Statement

QDRO/QILDRO Legal Services, LLC (QQLS) recognizes the importance of protecting your privacy. Our policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit this website you will be required to enter personal and client information that is necessary for us to complete the QDRO documents. This site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. Your online session is protected with a secured SSL certificate that encrypts data transmissions in both directions to prevent interception by unauthorized persons. Sensitive data is stored on the server using state-of-the-art encryption methods. In addition, after we have completed document preparation, identifying personal information (SSN, DOB, etc.) will be deleted from the server.

How Do We Use Cookies?

Like many other commercial websites, our site utilizes a standard technology called "cookies" (see explanation below, "What Are Cookies?") to keep track of logged-in users. Our cookie file contains a string of random characters (session ID) that is used to verify logged-in status so that clients can access the secure area of the website without having to re-login on each page. No personal information is collected or stored. The cookie is deleted at the end of the session.

What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a very small text document stored on your computer by a website. When you visit a website, that site's computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser (unless you have set your browser's preferences to refuse them), but to protect your privacy your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from your hard drive, read cookie files created by other sites, or pass on computer viruses.

Browsers are usually set to accept cookies. If you have set your browser to refuse cookies you will not be able to access the data entry portion of the website. If you prefer not to enable cookies please contact us for alternate methods of submission.

Sharing and Selling Information

We do not share, sell, lend or lease any of the collected information with anyone except to the extent it is necessary to provide services that you have requested.

Your Consent

By using our Web site you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time with or without notice.
